Graefe Retractors

RI-00004 Surgery tools called Graefe retractors are frequently used in ocular surgeries. They bear the name Albrecht von Graefe in honour of the well-known German ophthalmologist who made substantial contributions to the science. The hand-held handle of these retractors has a curved blade at the tip. Stainless steel is commonly used for the blade, and it has a blunt, rounded tip to reduce the possibility of damaging the sensitive eye tissues. The handle is made to be simple for the surgeon to grasp and manipulate while performing the treatment.
